Service: 1 o'clock, Friday, September 29, 2017 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 Thursday Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Chris Rutledge, age 31, of Monticello died September 24, 2017. He was a 2004 graduate of Rockdale High School and was employed as a Supervisor for Hussmann. Chris enjoyed classic cars and anything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. Chris loved spending time with his family and always made them his top priority. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Rutledge and brother, Michael Pierce, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Bridget Rutledge; daughter, Alyssa Rutledge; son, Colten Rutledge; mother, Brenda Pierce of Hillsboro; sister, Jennifer Barfield; and brother, Anthony Pierce of Covington. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock Friday, September 29 in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. William Kincer officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
