Christopher "Matt" Jones, age 53, of Conyers, died April 4, 2016. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was employed as a Sales Manager at Regal Rawson Brown. Matt was a kind man, a loving companion and brother who will be missed greatly. An active member of Shiloh Methodist Church, he held a special place in his heart for his dogs, Spanky and Lucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Mabel and James Lewis Jones. Surviving are his girlfriend, Tammy Eskew of Conyers; sisters, Leslie Murphy of Athens, Gayle Cardon and her husband, Edward, of Monroe, Melanie Rice and her husband, Steve, of Macon, and Vicki Maret of Suwanee; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock on Tuesday, April 12 at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Covington with Pastor Mike Wadley officiating.
