Charlotte Ann "Dottie" Landress, age 72, of Conyers, formerly of Lithonia, died Tuesday, October 29, 2019. She was born in Lithonia to Thomas Watson Carter and Joyce Viola Carter and attended Lithonia High School. Dottie was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church and owned her own business, L& B Lawn Maintenance. She enjoyed "Goodwilling", spending time outside where she could work her magic on flowers and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Dottie was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Donald Lee Landress; son, Jeffery William Burroughs; daughter, Laurie Ann Burroughs; brothers, Charlie Carter, James Carter and Tony Carter; sister, Mamie Brown. Surviving are her son, Rodney Heath and his wife, Brandy, of Jasper; brother, Donald Carter and his wife, Linda, of Oxford; sister, Brenda Searcy and her boyfriend, Phillip "Slick" Moss of Jasper; grandchildren, Lisa Robinson and her husband, BJ, Jessica Burroughs, David Burroughs and his wife, Rebecca, Brandyn Heath, and Madison Heath; great grandchildren, Adreiana, Jay, Jordan, Donovan, Ethan, Lavontay, and Ciera; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3 o'clock, Saturday, November 2, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends 11-3 Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
