Charles Ray Upright, age 71, of Conyers, died October 16, 2023. Born in Concord, North Carolina on October 11, 1952, Charles was a talented transmission expert in the automotive industry but also a thoughtful family man. His hobbies were a reflection of his love for simple pleasures - he loved fishing, playing the guitar, and above all, he loved being with his family. Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Upright; his wife, Pamela "Pam" Upright; father, Junior Upright. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Christy Vassey & Andy Goddard of Conyers; sons and daughters-in-law, CJ & Kristie Upright of Forsyth and Robert Ray & Tera Adamson of Conyers; son-in-law, Christopher Vassey of Conyers; mother, Doris Price; 10 grandchildren, Christine, Kristen, Addison, Anthony, Amber, Trinity, Dakota, Pamela Rose, Peyton, and William; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
