Charles Edward 'Edd' Miller, age 73, of Lawrenceville, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was born at Emory University Hospital to Leonard Loren and Frances Kelley Miller. Edd attended Lithonia High School, graduated from Lakeland High School in Florida and was a 1966 graduate of the University of Florida. Edd worked for many years and retired from Primerica Insurance. He enjoyed attending University of Florida's football games; watching football games in general; saltwater and freshwater fishing; working in the yard; listening to the music of the 60's and the 70's; but most of all spending time with friends and family. Edd was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leonard Loren 'Buddy' Miller, Jr. Surviving are his wife of almost 50 years, Laura Fisher Miller; sons, Eric Miller, Shane Miller and his wife, Krystal, of Loganville, Michael Miller of Lawrenceville, and Brian Miller and his wife, Melissa, of Buford; three grandchildren, Austin, Erin and Madison Miller; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, May 25, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Butcher officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 o'clock prior to the service at Henry Funeral Home.
