Service: 11 o'clock, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 6-8 Tuesday Evening Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Carolyn Eaton Patton, age 89, of Rutledge, died Sunday, November 26, 2017. She was a native of Jasper and long time resident of Lithonia. Carolyn was a caterer and retired after 30 years of service. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Hubert W. Patton; daughter, Joyce Pruitt and son, Homer Patton. Surviving are her daughters, Rebecca Patton of Lithonia, Laura and Barry Lowe of Rutledge, and Judy and Mike Ferguson of Ackworth; sons, Milton Patton of Social Circle, Dutch and Abby Landrum of Shadydale, Wayne and Melanie Casteel of Social Circle; son-in-law, Herman Pruitt; brothers, Frank and Mary Eaton of Madison, Russell and Marilyn Eaton of Stockbridge, and Dwight and Dorothy Eaton of Eatonton; sisters, Annette Eaton of Madison and Linda Miller of Conyers; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11o'clock, Wednesday, November 29, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 Tuesday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
