Service: 3 o'clock, Sunday, June 11, 2017 Place: Charismatic Christian Center, Monroe Visitation: 3-7 Saturday, June 10, 2017 Place: Henry Funeral Home, Social Circle Carol Vaughters Sellers, age 73, of Loganville, formerly of Lithonia, died June 8, 2017. She was a 1962 graduate of Lithonia High School, was a business owner and late in life graduated from DeKalb Technical College and passed the state exam to become an optician. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, S. B. and Rebecca Vaughters; brother, Wink Vaughters; and nephews, Tim Vaughters and Al Vaughters. Surviving are her daughters, Mandy Richards and her husband, Dalton, of Loganville, Beth Henley of Covington, and Jenny Brinkley and her husband, Reeves, of Loganville; brothers, Brice Vaughters and Steve Vaughters and his wife Tina; 8 grandchildren; several nieces. A funeral service will be held 3 o'clock Sunday, June 11, at Charismatic Christian Center, 1316 W. Spring St., Monroe, with Pastor Eli Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 3-7 Saturday at Henry Funeral Home, Social Circle.
