Carol Ledford, age 69, of Jackson, Georgia, died April 15, 2025. She was born on October 16, 1955, to the now late R.G. & Betty George in Winder, Georgia. Carol loved the outdoors, and that was reflected in her work in the landscaping industry and in her hobbies of fishing and gardening. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.W. "Junior" Ledford, and her brother, Ronnie George. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Jerry & Kim Daniel, Terry Daniel, Angie & Bryan Ledford; sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Donald Carter; brother, David George; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service for Carol will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, 6833 Church Street, Lithonia, with Pastor Ed Westbrook officiating and interment following in Way of the Cross Baptist Church Cemetery, 646 Sigman Road, Conyers, GA. The family will receive friends Friday, April 18, from 6-8 PM, at Henry Funeral Home.
