Service: 2 o'clock, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: One hour prior to service time Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Carlton O. Bullard, age 85 of Jefferson, formerly of Lithonia, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was a graduate of Lithonia High School class of 1950; served his country honorably in the USMC and was a member of Northeast Baptist Church of Braselton. Carlton was an engineer for Southern Bell where he retired after 42 years of service, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret; son, Steven and his wife, Lisa, of Newnan; daughters, Donna Goodwin and her husband, Herb, of Bethlehem, and Wanda Branham of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Nicholas and his wife, Emily, Andrew, Hannah and her husband, Ben, and Seth; great-grandchildren, Noah, Owen, Micah, Canon, and Abigail; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Tuesday, April 18, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
