Service: 11 o'clock, Monday, April 16, 2018 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 3-5 Sunday afternoon, April 15, 2018 Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Otis Carl White, age 96, of Loganville , died Wednesday, April 11, 2018. As part of the 'Greatest Generation' Carl served his country honorably as a Sargent in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WWII and after 28 years of service retired as manager from the U.S. Postal Service. He and his wife, Kathleen, were founding members of Calvary Baptist Church in Loganville. Carl was preceded in death by his loving wife of 74 years, Kathleen, and son, Timothy. Surviving are sons, Otis White, Jr. and special friend, Luz Merizalde of Sharpsburg; Jesse White and his wife, Libby, of Covington; 8 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Monday, April 16, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Rev. Tony Howeth and Chaplain Randy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at West View Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon between 3-5 at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
