C. W. "Pat" Porter, age 100 of Conyers, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Born In Heard County, Georgia, he served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Cleo and son, Bobby. Surviving are his daughter; Myra Hall and her husband Gene of Powder Springs, sons; Jack Porter and his wife Linda of Canton, Mike Porter and his wife, Nancy of Dacula, Nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock Monday, July 6 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin and Rev. Bob Lindsay officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth. Family will receive friends 3 to 5 Sunday afternoon at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
