On Sunday May 9, 2021 Brenda Pritchett of Stone Mountain, GA, loving mother of 4 and grandmother of 1 transcended into the worldly Heavens at the age of 78. Brenda was outgoing, loving, generous, had a sense of humor and was a joy to all who were graced with her presence. She had a fiercely independent spirit and inner strength that was unwavering with an outspokenness that could never be misconstrued or denied. She had impeccable instincts. She was highly intelligent with a go-getter's attitude. She was able to assess a situation and/or person to the most accurate conclusion. She was dedicated to defending others. She took command of a room once she entered. She always carried herself with respectability, regal, and class. You were humbled with pride just being by her side. Her commitment to helping others was motivational. had a passion for art and beauty, may it be colors or textures. She was a fashionista in every sense of the word. Being stylish was very much Joyce in her element. She loved hairstyling, accessorizing clothing with beautiful coats, hats, jewelry and scarves. She enjoyed photography, music of many genres, singing (you couldn't shut her off once she got started), travelling, flowers, gardening, sewing, cooking, and shopping. She couldn't resist a good bargain! Most of all, the joy of her existence and purpose in her life was her children and granddaughter. This is her undeniable legacy. Services will be held privately by the family.
