Brenda Gail McDonald, age 72, of Conyers, died March 3, 2021. She was born in Marietta to Claude and Lillie Smith and graduated from DeKalb Technical School with a degree in accounting. Brenda worked for many years as a house keeper for Rockdale County Hospital. She enjoyed watching television, working crossword puzzles, vacationing with her grandchildren, and spending time with her great-grandbabies. Brenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John McDonald; son Jeffrey; parents; brothers, Milford, Wayne and Richard Smith; sisters, Pauline, Dorris, Irene, and Dolly Mae. Surviving are her daughter, Tammie Conner and her husband, Charles, of Conyers; 3 grandchildren Bennie, Brian and Brittany; 3 great- grandchildren, Elijah, London and Isabella; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Brenda and John will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Community Baptist Church in Ellenwood with Rev. Josh Conner officiating.
