Brenda Conner, age 81, of Mansfield, Georgia, died October 26, 2023. She was born July 7, 1942, in Stone Mountain, Georgia, to the late Curtis and Clara Hambrick. Her hobbies, which included shopping, crafting, celebrating the holidays and scrapbooking, not only spoke of her creativity but also her love for preserving precious moments. In addition, she enjoyed going on cruises and traveling and worked as a cosmetologist for many years. Most special to her however, were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Hambrick and Hubert Hambrick. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Arthur Conner; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Dan Lowe of Canton, Denise and Danny Cleland of Mansfield; grandchildren, Whitney (Tory) Shivers, Taylor (Steph) Lowe, Trent (Brittany) Cleland, Kayla (Austin) Williamson; great-grandchildren, Everly Shivers, Hayes Cleland, Colt Cleland, Granger Williamson; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am, Sunday, October 29, 2023, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, 6833 Church Street, Lithonia, Georgia, with Bro. Mark Banks officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30pm in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home from 10:00-11:30am.
