Bonnie Hubert-Ellison, age 64, passed away June 23, 2018, at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, GA, after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Agnes Hubert and sister, Pat Kendrick. Surviving are her husband, David Ellison; son, Brian Schilson; stepchildren, Julie McHenry (Dusty), and James Ellison, (Samantha); four grandchildren; three sisters, Deborah Chambless of Cordele, Sharon Lipes of Powhatan, VA and Gaye Charles of Jacksonville, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Bonnie was born in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from Decatur High School and DeKalb Technical School. She was proud of her career in the medical field, and loved and cared for her patients in the DeKalb Medical Center network of doctors.
She loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. Bonnie's grandchildren, as well as her flowers and birds brought much joy to her life.
A celebration of life service will be held in the near future for her many friends and family.
