Bobby George

Bobby George, age 72 of Conyers, formerly of Redan, died Sunday April 9, 2023. A graduate of Lithonia High School, class of 1968, he was a brick mason by trade. Bobby played softball in his younger years and enjoyed riding his Harley and he considered himself a professional pool player. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Joyce Ghee George; sister, Ann and brother, Jimmy, he is Survived by his wife, Maxine George; daughters, Stacy George of Mansfield, Shannon Stephenson and her husband, Wayne; sons, Dana George of Newborn, Shane Williams and his wife, Priscilla, of Walnut Grove; brother, Danny George and his wife, Debra; grandchildren, Haley Patterson, Kassi Williams, Autumn Williams, Jake Stephenson, Shyanne George, Justin Stephenson, Hannah Tidwell, Lauren Owens, Dalton George and Paityn Williams; great grandchildren, Brayden, Johnny, Riley, Bryson and Casen; nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends and family will be held Thursday evening April 13, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Henry Funeral Home.
