Bobby Christopher Brown, age 55, of Winder, GA, passed away August 25, 2023, at home after a battle with cancer. He was born December 5, 1967 in Covington, GA, and was a truck driver at DixiePly for many years. He is survived by his wife, Karen Brown; parents, Bobby and Marilyn Brown; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kristy and Kyle Comer, Debbie Brown and Chris Beckhorn; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen and Joey Harris, Kali Parker, Brittany Brown, Asheley and Anthony Blackford, Angelynn Thomas, Tricia and Justin Floyd, Tina and Tyler Barnett; 17 grandchildren- Gemma, Jacob, Chase, Lillian, Lacie, Gracelyn, Samuel, Clay, Makayla, Kingston, Kadence, Riley, Isabella, Deacon, Zander, Scarlett, Violett; 5 nieces and nephews- MacKenzie, Kara, Briana, Percy and Kaleb; as well as 3 great-nieces and nephews- Mavis, Liana and Rykelan. Chris was a loving, goofy, bear of a man who enjoyed going camping, mountain bike riding, fishing, playing pickleball, creating music and riding motorcycles with his fellow members and friends of SCRC. He was a friend to everyone he met and never spoke a bad word about anyone. He made lifelong friends and was always there if someone needed help. He was a beloved man to his family and friends and shared his love for nature and adventure with all. A funeral service for Chris will be held 11 o' clock, Saturday, September 2, 2023, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, 6833 Church Street, Lithonia, with Pastor Rick Bene officiating and interment following in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Decatur. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 on Friday at the funeral home.
