Billy Wayne Miner, age 66, of Conyers, died Monday, October 28, 2019. "Sparky", as he was known to his family and friends, loved his church, Cornerstone Praise Center in Madison, and was a faithful member. He was a fantastic brother and liked to help those in need. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bessie Miner; "Mama" Martha Lou Miner Moore; brother, Jimmy Miner; and nephew, Ronnie Crumbley. Surviving are his siblings, Ann Crumbley and friend, Bob Finney, of Conyers, Gene Miner and wife, Alice, of Lithonia, and Peggy Crumbley and husband, Wayne "Doc", of Conyers; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Silas, who referred to "Sparky" as his "Pawpaw"; and all his friends at his church. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock, Friday, November 1, at Cornerstone Praise Center, with Brenda Holbert. Rev. Gary Pritchett and Bro. Gene Miner. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to his church Cornerstone Praise Center, 257, S.
