William H. "Billy" Mann, age 83, of Buckhead, died Monday December 4, 2017. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was retired from Pittman Construction Company. Billy owned and operated Mann's Tavern on Covington Hwy and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golf, and baseball. Preceded in death by his parents, Mercer and Alice Mann; sisters, Mary Hawkins, Evelyn Potts, Rachel Smith; brothers, Jackie Mann, Bobby Mann, he is survived by daughter, Lori O'Kelley and husband Barry of Snellville; sons, Thomas Mann and Samuel A. Mann both of Buckhead; granddaughter, Morgan Rooks and husband James, of Jefferson; grandson, Steven O'Kelley of Snellville. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Thursday, December 7, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Nelms officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-5, and 6-8 at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
