Service: 2 o'clock, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Visitation: 12-2pm Wednesday January 31, 2018 Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Betty Ann Worley McCook, born July 19, 1934, went home to be with The Lord on January 28th, 2018. She had been ill with Alzheimer's for just over 6 years. She was a devoted wife for 67 years, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as a secretary for the Davidson Family of Lithonia, and retired with her husband on Lake Sinclair. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Twila Ann McCook and her parents, Paul and Ora Worley. She is survived by her loving husband, Sam McCook, her daughters, Cyndy Zalinsky of Dalonegha and Nikki Howell and her husband David of Milledgeville, as well as 4 granddaughters and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock Wednesday, January 31, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home Lithonia with Rev. Lanny Myers and Rev. Frank Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow at Turner Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to service time.
