Beth Anne Daiker Scott, born in Oneida, New York, on July 19, 1958 to Richard and Jean Daiker, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was surrounded by her family when her husband gently placed her hand into the hand of God. Beth trusted Christ as her personal Savior during her senior year of high school and upon graduation attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College where she met her husband Keith. Beth and Keith were married on June 19, 1981 in Webster, New York. Over their 40 years of marriage they served the Lord together in Christian education at Gilead Christian Academy - Macon, GA, Philadelphia Christian School - Conyers, GA, Mountain Area Christian Academy - Morganton, GA, and Rosedale Baptist School - Baltimore, MD. Beth was considered to be a master teacher as she used her knowledge and love for the Word of God and her expertise in academics, to make present day application to the circumstances of life. Her work with the students in the area of fine arts inspired many students to confidently apply their God-given knowledge and abilities to what God had in store for them throughout life. Beth's goal was for students to know and be prepared to do the will of God. She genuinely loved what she taught but more than that who she taught. As stated by many students, friends, and especially her family, she taught by example what it was to be Christ-like through her self-less walk with the Lord and love and care for others. Beth's legacy will live on for generations to come in the lives of all she touched through her encouragement and gentle spirit.
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Richard Daiker. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Keith Scott; daughter, Carrie Scott of Social Circle; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Amy Scott of McDonough; grandchildren, Bentley, Sophia and Everlee; mother, Jean Daiker of Sodus, New York; sisters, Diane Daiker of Rochester, New York, Alison Golan and her husband, Dan, of Fruit Grove, Florida, and Gail Daiker of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, David and Kelly Daiker of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, November 27, at Belmont Baptist Church, 3275 Iris Drive Conyers, GA 30013, with Pastor Rusty Smith and Pastor Joe Bowker officiating.
