She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Clarence Miner; daughter, Martha Lou Moore; son, James C. Miner; grandson, Ronny Crumbley; sisters, Minnie Lee Wilson, Louise Moon and Willie Blanche Walker; brothers, Floyd Atha and Luther Atha. Bessy retired from Pacific Uniform where she worked for many years as a trimmer. A member of Conyers Church of God, she was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surviving are daughters, Ann Crumbley of Conyers, and Peggy Crumbley and her husband, Wayne, of Conyers; sons, Billy Miner of Conyers, Gene Miner and his wife, Alice, of Lithonia; daughter-in-law, Drew Miner of Covington; sister, Bea Blankenship of Conyers; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3 o'clock, Tuesday, March 22, in the Lithonia chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Brumlow officiating. Interment will follow at Green Meadows Cemetery.
