Service: 11 o'clock, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: One hour prior to service. Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Bernice Montine Boots, age 87, of Lithonia, died January 13, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald Boots. She was a loving mother, grandmother and was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Lithonia . Bernice retired from Davidson Mineral Properties where she worked as credit manager for 37 years. Surviving are her daughter, Lorrie Gregory and her husband, Mike, of Abingdon, VA; son, Don Boots of Douglasville; grandchildren, Eric Gregory and his wife, Julia Gootzeit of Carrboro, NC and Sarah Dominic and her husband, Joel, of Charlottesville, VA. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Tuesday January 17, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lindsay and Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral time, Tuesday.
