Bennie Bee Norton, age 78, of Barnesville, died August 2, 2020. He worked for many years as a police officer for Fayetteville Police Department and Henry County Police Department. Bennie enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts of America and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Norton. Surviving are his son, Charles Norton of Conyers; daughters, Laura Born of Michigan and Christine Davidson of Alabama; special friend, Shirley; and four grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Berea Cemetery in Hampton at a later date.
