Bennie J. Bryant, age 90, of Conyers, Georgia, died March 22, 2024. Born December 27, 1933, in Conyers, Bennie was the oldest child and only son of the late Schley and Runelle Bryant. He flourished in his career at Taber Pontiac where he eventually retired as a respected manager. Bennie's dedication to his work was second only to the love he had for his family. Spending time with his sisters and their families, daily breakfasts at Wendy's with his friends and games of Mexican Train brought him much joy. In addition, he was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister & brother-in-law, Barbara & Bobby Burgess; niece, Lisa Adams. Survivors include his devoted sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Neil McCullough; nieces and their husbands, Debora & Jimmy French, Wendy & Ken Barker, Candy & Chris Sullivan; several great-nieces and great-nephews and extended family members. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia, with Pastor John Thornton, Jr. officiating and inurnment following in Sodom Cemetery.
