Barbara Howell Green of Covington, GA Age 78 passed away on February 25, 2021. Barbara was born in Lithonia, Georgia and graduated from Lithonia High School in 1960. Barbara was a school bus driver for Rockdale County School System for many years. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with all of them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hudie and Ethel Howell and sister, Brenda Brooks. Barbara is survived by her Husband of 59 years Jerry Green; three children, Shannon Duffey, Scott Green and Sonia (Rob) McCool; five grandchildren, Jessica Goodman (Brian), Kristen Collier (Justin), Brandon Duffey, Savannah Duffey, and Jeff McCool; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Kendall, Justice and Jada; brothers, Marshall (June) Howell and Leon (Becky) Howell; sisters, Theresa (Marc) Roach, and Cindy (Jeff) Simmons. She will be missed by so many including many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 o'clock, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Oakland Baptist Church, 1005 Highway 81 West, McDonough, GA 30252
