Barbara Lee Thompson Fisher, age 72, of Good Hope, died September 19, 2022. Born in Lithonia, Georgia to Eulene Epps and Albert Lamar Thompson, she attended Loganville High School. Barbara loved planting flowers, fishing, cleaning (which she loved to do at night), gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, and crocheting with her mother. She also loved going on trips with her sisters, leaf watching, playing the piano, and eating catfish! Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, of 34 years, Claude Fisher; parents; her brothers, William Thompson, Troy Thompson, and Junior Thompson; and sister, Mary Allgood. Surviving are her sons, Scott Blackwell and Ramon Blackwell; daughters, Brenda Flannery and her husband, Lee, Regina Reid and her husband, Jody, and Lisa Flanigan and her husband, Henry; brothers, Doyle, Thompson and Tony Thompson; sisters, Patricia Palmer, Carolyn Thompson, Doreen Wilbanks, Rhonda Cain and her husband, Sammy, and Margie Reagan and her husband, Richard; 14 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Friday, September 23, 2022 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow one hour after the service at Carter Memorial Cemetery, Loganville. The family will receive friends 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
