Ann Thomason

Martha "Ann" Thomason, a lifelong resident of Conyers, Georgia, died June 23, 2026, at the age of 72. Born in Fulton county GA, on September 7, 1953, Martha, affectionately known as Ann, lived a life that was a testament to her kind-hearted and loving nature.

Ann dedicated her professional life to the DeKalb County School System, where she worked diligently for 25 years as a school bus driver. Outside of work, Ann was a devoted member of Hydes Chapel Baptist Church for 31 years, where she loved to serve the Lord. Ann was the epitome of a loving grandmother. Her greatest joy was being "Nana" to her cherished grandchildren, taking them fishing and spending quality time with them.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Joyce Camp; sister, Brenda Camp and brother, Paul Camp.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Jerry "JT" Thomason, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Kevin Smith; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Candie Thomason, Jr., Gregory and Sarah Thomason, and son, Timothy Thomason; sisters, Becky (Charles) Smith, Tricia (Kenny) Morris, and Kathie Camp; brother, Terry (Susan) Camp; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her beloved fur baby, Cutie Pie and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock, Friday, June 26, 2026 at Hydes Chapel Baptist Church, 1630 W Hightower Trail, Conyers, GA 30012, with Rev. Alan Burns officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, on Thursday, June 25, at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
