Surviving are his wife, Amanda Slate Broom; daughter, Rebekah; Sisters, Robin, Christina and Rachelle; brothers, Jeremy and Kevin; Mother, Jane Jackson, father; Jerry Broom; maternal grandmother, Magdalena Quiles; father and mother-in-law, Don and Darlene Slate.
