Alexander Michael KoburgerAlexander Michael Koburger, affectionately known as Alex, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 43.

Born on July 17, 1983, in Tallahassee, Florida, Alex was a kind-hearted and curious person whose life was shaped by his love for family and his desire to learn and grow. He attended Georgia Tech, where he pursued studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering, reflecting both his inquisitive nature and determination. He also worked as an Uber driver, a role he genuinely enjoyed, appreciating the independence it offered and the opportunity to connect with people.

Above all, Alex will be remembered for the warmth and care he shared with those around him. A talented cook, he found great joy in preparing meals for family, bringing loved ones together around the table and creating lasting memories through food and fellowship.

Alex especially treasured time spent with his three nieces. Their visits brought him great happiness, and he loved playing with them and sharing in their lives.

Alex is survived by his sister, Jessica Koburger and her husband, Jorge Guzman Perez; his stepbrother, Adam Kling and his wife, Lindsey Gionfriddo; his stepsisters, Sheila Jagla and Melanie McLain and her husband, Edgar Martinez; his stepfather, Barry Kling and his wife, Nancy Kling; and his stepmother, Laurie Koburger.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James Koburger and Kathleen Neill.

An intimate memorial gathering will be held on November 11, 2026, when close family and friends will come together to honor Alex's memory, celebrate his life, and cherish the love and memories he leaves behind.
