He moved to Decatur in 1963 where he lived until he moved to Conyers in 1990. Lee was a member of E. A. Minor Masonic Lodge No. 603 F&AM and a active member of the Shrine. He retired from the Atlanta Journal/Constitution where he worked as a Newspaper Press Room Foreman for over 25 years. Lee enjoyed fishing, attending his grandchildren's ball games, and family "get togethers." A dedicated father and grandfather, he was known as "PaPa or Coach PaPa." Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Betty Keenan; daughters, Sherry Compton and husband, James, of Conyers; Lynne Farrington and husband, Scott, of Conyers; son, Tony Keenan and his companion, Deb Henry, of Conyers; grandchildren, Drew, Brett, and Lane Keenan, Clay, Matt, and Leah Fancher, April, Valerie, and Melanie Farrington; ten great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 12:30, Saturday, October 24, in the Lithonia chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Dave Benson officiating.
